Tour Description
The 8 night 9 day Golden Triangle with Varanasi Tour Packages is a quintessential journey through India’s northern part covering the most vibrant and classic cities of Delhi, the capital city of India and the center of powerful ancient dynasties; Jaipur, a city of pink-hued structures and royal legacies entailed in the palaces, forts and fortresses and havelis; Agra, which is home to some of the most alluring historical monuments, including the world-famous Taj Mahal and last, but not the least, Varanasi or Benaras, the ‘holy city’.
Situated on the banks of the holy river Ganges, Varanasi is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and is one of the oldest living cities in the world. Originally known as Kashi meaning ‘city of light’ (according to Hindu mythology), this holy city has been a center of learning and civilization for over 3000 years and the ideal pilgrimage site for Hindus. The city is becoming a popular travel destination in India because of its spiritual destinations, labyrinthine passageways and diversified population.
