The ‘City of Lakes’ Udaipur was founded originally by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1553 and is the former capital of the Mewar Kingdom. This scenic city in Rajasthan is known for its illustrious history and culture. Offering a range of picturesque sites complemented with serene azure water lakes and luxurious palaces, Udaipur makes for the top ideal choices for honeymoon and wedding destinations. In Udaipur, you'll first explore Saheliyon ki Baari, or the Garden of the Maidens, which is a garden built by Maharana Sangram Singh II for women. The place has a museum along with marble elephants, mountains, kiosks, and a lotus pool. After that, you’ll go to see the Jagdish Temple, and then you will move to the City Palace complex. In the palace’s complex, other sights of attraction are the "MorChowk," renowned for its superb glass peacock mosaics, and the "ChiniChitrashala," recognized for its blue and white ceramics. A high-tech sound and light show is conducted every evening at the magnificent Manak Chowk. You’ll next explore Fateh Sagar Lake. This marvelous artificial lake is linked to Lake Pichola by a canal and is bordered by delightful hills and woodlands. Fateh Sagar houses the only solar observatory located on an island with serene waters. Later, visit the Jaisamand Lake, claimed to be the second largest man-made sweet water lake in Asia, and Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace), both of which add to the architectural beauty and grandeur of the city. In the evening, visit Lake Pichola at sunset and take a boat ride to witness a mesmerizing view of the lake and the City Palace. If you are an art enthusiast, then a visit to the Folk Art Museum is a must. Explore the local markets in the city, then head back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

On the third day of your Blissful Rajasthan Tour, have your breakfast and proceed towards the only hill station in Rajasthan, Mount Abu. After driving for almost 3 hours and covering a distance of 163 km, you’ll reach the mystical hill station of Mount Abu. Adorned with waterfalls and lush green forests, this hill station is located at an altitude of 1219 meters. Once the former summer capital of the Rajputana rulers, Mount Abu offers a stunning landscape complemented by great weather.   Upon arrival in Udaipur, check in at the hotel. Then proceed to explore the prominent attractions of Mount Abu, including Dilwara Temples. The architectural brilliance of this temple is considered superior to that of the Taj Mahal. With the interior of the temple being adorned with astonishing marble stone carvings, it is one of the finest Jain temples in the world. Then visit the highest peak of Mount Abu, Guru Shikhar. Located at an altitude of 1722 meters, this place provides a breathtaking panoramic view of Mount Abu town and the Aravalli range. It is also home to many historic temples and shrines, such as the temple of Guru Dattatreya. In the evening, visit the famous Nakki Lake, an artificial lake that is believed to have been dug by Gods or Devtas using their nails or ‘nakh’, hence the name Nakki Lake. It is a perfect spot for all photography lovers and recreational activities like boating and picnicking. The Sunset Point near this lake is yet another attraction in Mount Abu. Visit Sunset Point to witness a breathtaking sunset in the Aravalli range. Return to the hotel. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

On the final day of your blissful Rajasthan Tour Packages, our India Wonderland representative will bid you a wonderful farewell. After having breakfast, pack your luggage and be escorted to Udaipur Airport to catch your flight back home.
